The Eastern region covers about a quarter of Uganda and stretches right up to the boarder of Kenya and is the road less travelled by visitors who come to explore this hidden gem in the pearl of Africa.

In contrast with Uganda's western region,this area is much less visited by foreign tourists yet it has fascinating natural attractions of its own. The beautiful 1,279 Sq km Mount Elgon National Park and Sipi Falls,located on the edge of the park are one of the best known for this.
